Matt Durbin, a 27-year industry veteran with experience spanning all aspects of the beverage industry, founded Durbin Consulting Group (DCG) to bring his passion for the beverage and hospitality business together with his strong strategic acumen.

Durbin Consulting Group provides strategic solutions for its business partners across every aspect of the beverage, bar, digital marketing and hospitality industries. Its deep client base includes restaurant and bar chains, beverage suppliers and digital marketing partners.

Prior to founding DCG, Matt was the global head of concept and brand marketing for TGI Friday’s, where he led all food and beverage innovation and brand marketing, authoring the brand’s bar strategy. During his Friday’s career, he has held both operations and marketing roles at all levels of the organization. As a bartender, Matt earned the title of Fridays 1994 World Bartender Champion.

After earning his MBA from The University of Notre Dame, Matt led distilled spirits marketing for The E. & J. Gallo Winery and held CMO roles with the Fox and House Restaurant Group and Brunswick Bowling.

Matt calls Dallas, Texas home, where he lives with his wife, Heather, his two stepsons, Zach and Ethan, and his beloved dogs, Sparky and Coco.
